IN Engineering + Planning handles land-use applications and provides structural, timber frame, mass timber and civil engineering for projects in Toronto, North York, Hamilton and across the Greater Toronto Area.
Who We Help in the GTA
Landowners and small developers working through the committee of adjustment or site plan approval; homeowners and builders who need a structure engineered, a renovation reviewed or damage assessed; designers and architects who need structural drawings sealed; and commercial and industrial owners planning additions, fit-ups or new buildings. Our engineers are licensed by Professional Engineers Ontario, and our firm is an ACEC and IWSCC member.

Structural Design and Assessments
Renovations, wall removals, additions, foundations, retaining walls, and condition and forensic assessments.
Code Reviews and Site Work
Ontario Building Code reviews, grading and drainage, and stormwater for permit and site plan submissions.

We confirm the approvals or engineering needed, any site visit and the schedule before work starts.
3. Receive Applications and Sealed Drawings
Planning applications filed on your behalf and drawings sealed by a licensed Ontario engineer.

Yes. Our professional engineers are licensed in Ontario, which covers the whole province.
Do You Offer Design or Construction in the GTA?
Not at this time. Design and construction are offered in Eastern Ontario. In the GTA we provide planning and engineering, and we work alongside your designer, architect or builder.
